around. they're building an army over there

in France. Amassing a horde of talented young artists

that are going to rule the animation world.

(seriously, i didn't know videos could be compressed into such a tiny space. kinda like gushers. all that awesome juice inside such a tiny fruit-snack. how do you do it scientists?)

face sketches

i've been doing a lot of portrait studies lately. the master of the human face and form, Norman Rockwell, has been a huge inspiration since i picked up his book "332 magazine covers". i'll post more from my actual sketchbook when i get some scan time. i also got a couple digital paintings i'm working on, they'll be up within the next week or so depending on school. in the meantime here's a warm-up for tonight's artful festivities.
