You should always draw in the morning! These quick sketches are great, man
Yeah man that book is better than my grandmother coming back from the dead to make her famous grape jello. I'm not even kidding. To me, the drawings aren’t bad, but I wish there was something more to them. Sometimes we have a tendency to not care as much about our quick sketch work, when that's the stuff that really needs our thought. The whole point of sketching is to push us forward, so don't be afraid to push it man. These images don't say anything to me on an emotional level and therefore I'm not asking any questions. Who is he? What's this guy about? Why do his pants glow? You know, the kind of question that keep you interested so people don't just go to the next thing. The worst thing in the world is having someone flip through your sketchbook and fly by your drawings at light speed, so you have to put enough information on the page to keep the viewer there long enough to connect.Anyway, it's two in the morning and maybe I don't know what I'm talking about, but that's my two cents.
Hey...Mr. Barnes, hope all is well. You really have a solid drawing with various of style. Dig it.
Very nice sketches on your blog!
